Darren Stanley Hayes (born 8 May, 1972 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is a singer-songwriter. He is possibly better known for his a share in the enormously popular duo Savage Garden, whose international hit singles included a songs "I Want You", "Truly Madly Deeply" & "I Knew I Loved You" & "The Animal Song. "

Hayes recorded his 1st solo album, "Spin", which was freed within 2002. "Spin" carried in in the equivalent musical vein when Savage Garden, by owning the less easy rock healthy & extra edgey R&B vibe, although the first single "Insatiable" was a ballad, reaching Number 3 in Australia.
